Coastal Cuties and Spice It Up Litters ~ 3 Week Update

Sunday Sentinel - June 15, 2025

The puppies turned 3 weeks this past Friday and Saturday- and they're thriving! We've removed the whelping box and pig rails and upgraded their space to a puppy playpen with potty trays. Now the real fun begins-time to start potty training these little angels!

They'll begin eating puppy mush mid-week, and I'll be sure to share some videos on Instagram once that starts. It's always such a fun (and messy!) milestone. haha

The mamas are starting to enjoy more time away from the puppies now, hopping in just to feed and clean them throughout the day. It's interesting how each mama has her own style - some are meticulous cleaners, while others seem to think that's optional! Still everyone is growing well and doing fine.

I didn't get pictures taken this weekend. I'll post as soon as I can make that happen. It's about a 3 hour job...They are wiggly little things. It would be fun to create a video of my trying to get them to pose and all the antics that go into it. Sometimes it can take 10 minutes per puppy. Times 16! HAHA Then I edit and put their names, gender and Oak Knoll Doodles on the photo for copyright purposes. Sorry for the delay. I hope you saw the litter videos on IG this past weekend.
